At West London Rugby Club, we have been busy with numerous projects, including a re-branding transformation (more on that at a later date) as well as investment in new top training equipment and clubhouse refurbishment works. The buzz around the club has boosted the recruitment of new players too.
This is despite the unfortunate and sad news that the RFU have now taken the decision to cancel the entire league season, for Levels 3 and below. Should the situation improve and we are able to play some contact rugby in the future, the hope is that we will be able to arrange friendlies. But that remains to be seen.
Our goal remains the same. To field three regular teams when the competitive league rugby restarts. And so, we welcome more new members to the club regardless of their ability or playing level. When we are able to training will resume once again, following the Covid-19 Guidelines as specified by the Government & RFU.
And when circumstances allow us to, we look forward to welcoming all members, old and new, to the clubhouse. Richard Parillon — Club Captain.
